We are very happy to welcome our new Visiting Fellow Carla Feliciano to the KLI.

Carla is a final-year doctoral student in History and Philosophy of Science at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (FCUL), where she also teaches bioethics as an invited professor, focusing on topics related to human health. She has a background in biomedical sciences and currently connects philosophy of science, immunology, and bioethics in her research on immune memory.

Carla will be a Visiting Fellow at the KLI from November 01, 2026, to January 31, 2027. Her KLI project is titled “The Concept of Memory at the Intersection of Immunology and Philosophy: Immune Memory, Uniqueness, and Identity”.
