Welcoming Anna-Katharina Brenner to the KLI

We are excited to welcome Anna-Katharina Brenner to the KLI!

Anna-Katharina Brenner has joined the Konrad Lorenz Institute as a writing-up fellow for her dissertation project The Critical Role of Built Infrastructure for the Transformation towards Sustainability. Brenner's interdisciplinary project examines the co-evolution of built environments and formal and informal rules that contribute to the climate crisis and social-ecological inequalities. Using a wide range of methods including statistical analysis, geospatial analysis and stakeholder interviews, she examines experiments with superblocks in Vienna and patterns of expansion and densification in the city over 35 years.

Brenner will be a writing-up fellow at the KLI until October 31th, 2023.
